Kalles kaviar was launched in 1954 and is based on a recipe from the Swedish west coast that is several hundred years old. The tube looks almost the same today as when it was launched. The story began when a peddler sold a recipe for mild smoked caviar consisting of salted cod roe and oil to the company Abba for 1000 SEK, which was quite a lot of money in 1954.
This is a chilled product. Keep refrigerated below 8ºC. For use by date see back of packet. Do not exceed use by date. Once opened refrigerate and consume within 28 days. Not suitable for freezing.
