The Swedish Smörgåsbord may not be the hippest thing on the planet, but it is a truly wonderful thing. A big table filled with various dishes meant to be enjoyed and shared with a group of lovely people. The dishes are simple and flavoursome, with focus on fresh produce.
For your own little Smörgåsbord, we recommend 2 or 3 types of herring, some meatballs, a good strong cheese such as Västerbotten and of course some good crispbread from Leksands. Aquavit optional!
