A simple mix for a plain, light sponge cake in a hurry.
This is how you do it: 1. Pre-heat the oven to 175°C. 2. Grease and sprinkle breadcrumbs in a tin (around 1½ l). 3. Pour the contents of the packet into a bowl. Add 2 dl of water. 4. Mix for 1 minute, either by hand or using an electric whisk. 5. Pour the cake mixture into the tin and bake in the lower part of the oven for around 45 minutes. Use a skewer to test that the cake is dry. 6. Take the cake out of the oven. Let it stand in the tin for a few minutes before turning it upside down.
Ingredients: Sugar, wheat flour, vegetable fat, powdered whole eggs, skimmed milk powder, starch (wheat, corn), glucose syrup, baking powder (E500, E341, E450), flavourings, emulsifier E471, salt, colour E101. CONTAINS GLUTEN.
Store in a dry place and not above normal room temperature.
