Make a traditional Christmas gingerbread house with this fun building set. Comes with 2 long windowed walls, 2 shorter windowed walls, 2 roof pieces and 4 pieces to make a chimney

You can get nice and creative with this set and keep yourself occupied for hours while the snow falls outside (or you can pretend the bit about the snow).

Here's how to assmeble the house:  melt some sugar in a thick-bottomed saucepan.  Take care, the sugar will be super hot.  Use the sugar as a glue to stick the sides of the house together.  Leave to dry for a few minutes.

To make the icing:  300g of icing sugar and mix with one egg white and a small squeeze of lemon juice.  Add the thick mixture to a piping bag, cut a hole in the tip of the bag and decorate your house.  Finish off with sweeties of other decorations.
