ScandiKitchen Pepparkaksdeg is ready to bake gingerbread dough for Scandinavian ginger biscuits. Yum. Just roll, shape and bake. Hours of fun for the kids and grown-ups alike. Try not to eat all the raw dough (it is tasty!)
How to: Knead the dough lightly with floured hands to make it soft and pliable. It helps if you let it rest a little in room temperature. Lightly flour the table and the rolling pin and the dough will be easy to roll out. Roll out to 2-3 mm thickness (about the thickness of a pound coin). Cut shapes with traditional pastry cutters (For example: star, santa and heart shaped ones). Bake the gingerbread at 180°C for about 5-10 minutes depending on size. Watch carefully so they don’t burn. Let cool completely before decorating.
