Per i Viken Farmors Köttbullar – Meatballs 250g; hand made pork meatballs from Sweden’s Award winning charcuterie Per i Viken. Amongst Swedens most famous exports, these are loved by people of all ages. For a traditional Swedish dinner serve with mashed potatoes, cream sauce and lingonberry jam. Also delicious in a sandwich – on your favourite bread, spread some of our beetroot salad and top with halved meatballs and a prinkle of pepper. This is Per i Viken’s own take on the classic Swedish meatball – Skåne style from the south of Sweden. The original recipe is Grandma’ Persson’s and she wasn’t half bad at it.
Place the meatballs on a baking tray and heat in oven for 15 minutes at 160 degrees until warmed through; alternatively heat in a frying pan on low to medium heat with a touch of butter. The meatballs are already cooked – as soon as they are warmed through they are ready.
Serve with lingonberry jam and pickled gherkins. For an instant favourite, add creamy gravy and mash. This pack serves two with added side dishes.
