Pålækker salt beef is made with trimmed ox tongue of top quality. The meat has been salted and boiled until it is perfectly tender. Pålækker is cut in extra thick slices – without unnecessary additives.
Vet’s Night Snack: Take one slice of buttered rye bread, add liver pate (a nice, generous smear), then a slice of salt beef, red onion rings, aspic jelly and cress.
