Dinkelmjöl is Swedish for spelt flour. Spelt (Triticum spelta) is a hexaploid species of wheat and is one of our oldest grains – evidence of spelt has been found as far back as 2500 BC. The Vikings used spelt flour a lot – and research shows that we should all be replacing some of our normal flour with spelt to live a bit healthier. Can be used where you would normal white wheat flour, and has a mildly nutty taste.
