There are only a few gherkins grown in Denmark, which is why Beauvais’ gherkins are primarily harvested in Germany from mid-June to mid-September. The gherkins are delivered fresh and firm to the factory, then pickled and poured in glass jars.
Agurker gives a fresh “zing” to dishes – try for example chopped up in a tartar sauce or sliced up and served alongside a nice burger.
Store in a cool, dry place.
