There are not enough gherkins in Denmark to meet demand, which is why Beauvais’ gherkins are primarily harvested in Germany from mid-June to mid-September. The gherkins are delivered fresh and firm to the factory, then pickled and poured in glass jars. The ideal accompaniment to a roast beef sandwich, served with liver pate or even a burger.Ready to eat. Store in fridge after opening.
