ONLINE SHOPPING FAQ

Shipping

We ship all over UK mainland using UPS couriers. Certain limitations and surcharges apply to addresses the Scottish Highlands and outlying islands. Please explore the shipping charges in further down this page or for further enquiries or international shipments please email us shipping@scandikitchen.co.uk.

When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Depending on the shipping provider you choose, shipping date estimates may appear on the shipping quotes page.

Next day delivery
Order before 14.00 for next day delivery. Please email shop@scandikitchen.co.uk if you are cutting it fine and we would be able to advise on delivery date. 

PLEASE NOTE orders placed after 14:00 on a Thursday will NOT be shipped until the Monday (for Tuesday delivery).  We do not ship or deliver over the weekend.  

UK Mainland (see below for exclusions) Free delivery for orders above £60 and £6.50 for up to 30kg. Surcharges may apply to orders over 20kg net weight. Our courier, UPS, strives to deliver UK mainland orders the next day.

Special delivery charges and times apply for UPS for the following postcodes

AB37-38, AB44-45, AB53-56, CA18-27, HS1-HS9, IM, IV7, IV9-12, IV14-28, IV30-32, IV40-56, KA27-28, KW, LA15-23, PA20-38, PA41-49, PA60-88, PH17-26, PH30-44, PH49-50, TR21-25 and ZE.

Delivery charge is £18 and delivery time is 2 days.

Northern Ireland & Republic of Ireland: delivery charge is £15 per 20kg in weight and delivery time 2 days. 

Isle of Man delivery charge £24.75 per 20kg in weight and delivery 2 days.

The Channel Islands are treated as international deliveries. Delivery charge is £16.50 for per 20kg and delivery time is 2 days

We use UPS to deliver parcels. Please see www.ups.com for more details and to track your delivery.

International Deliveries:  We can ship some items to mainly Europe (within the EU member states only).  Delivery charges depend on location and will be advised at point of order.

Please note that we can only ship certain items - mainly dry goods and non fragile goods.  no drinks, jars or fresh items can be shipped and we accept no liability for any fresh items being delayed in transit, nor do we accept liability for temperature controls of these items during transit.  Deliveries to mainland EU is done on a 3-5 working day basis and we do not accept any liability for delays that may occur via these shippers.

Please note we are unable to ship goods outside the EU due to customs regulations.  

Pick up in store

You can also chose to pick up the product in our store in central London.  We deliver into the store for pick up on Wednesday morning and again on Friday morning.  Pick up orders will be sent with next available shipment into the store, providing stock is available.  Please note pick up orders are sent from warehouse to the store.  If you order, for example, on a Saturday, pick up day in store will be Wednesday.  Order on a Wednesday, pick up will be Friday.  Note that pick up in store only valid for 1 day before it will return to our warehouse in Park Royal unless we agree otherwise with you.

Returns Policy

You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund (inside shelflife). We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).

If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.

Security (from our Privacy Statement)

5.1 We employ security measures to prevent unauthorized access to information that we collect online.

5.2 We use a secure online order form for all purchases made via the Website. All data transmitted via this form (including credit card details) is 256bit encrypted so it transmitted securely. To verify this, when placing an order using the Website a padlock will appear in your browser. It is normally in the status bar, towards the right hand side, at the bottom of your browser window. You can double click this padlock to verify that the secure certificate has been issued to the Website.

Special offers and gifts

When offering free gifts with orders over a certain amount, it is always one gift per order regardless of order size.

Special offers are always only applicable at one offer per order - coupons and special offers cannot be combined in any circumstances. 

Percentage offers are never applicable on delivery charges.

Offers always excludes alcoholic beverages unless specifically specified.
