We love our Mums.  This Sunday is Mother’s Day in the UK and we look forward to helping you spoil your Mums if you happen to pop by the café.  Rebekka has promised to make princess cake.

Oh, and hello to all our Mums too. 

In other Scandi news this week, someone spent £400 for the priveledge of spitting on a Danish politician, Church weddings finally became legal for samesex couples and Norway accused the people of Sweden for megalomania. Sweden went crazy about a poor woman’s armpit hair.

Janice Long from the BBC is a bit of a legend.  Not only has she got an excellent choice in day time cafes, but she has excellent taste in music too. 

She’s now combining the two with her Janice Long Scandinavian Kitchen sessions – recorded right here, in the dark evenings, a jam right next to the crisp bread shelves.

There’s nothing as amusing as a bit of toilet humour.

This week’s three Danish words are:  Turistfart (Tourist transport), I fart (in motion) and bådfart (boat transport).
